Mighty Mike Schermer brings the blues at 9 p.m. Saturday March 16, , at Alibi Ale Works – Truckee Public House. Blues legend Tommy Castro says “Mike Schermer is probably the greatest blues guitarist, singer and songwriter you’ve never heard of.” He’s been the go-to sideman for blues greats such as Bonnie Raitt, Marcia Ball, Elvin Bishop and many others. As longtime fixture of the Bay Area blues scene, Schermer relocated to Austin in 2009, and now he’s bringing his hard-driving, original blues to Alibi Truckee.
