South Shore’s Mescalito will help soothe Inauguration Day jitters tonight with a 9 p.m. show at The Divided Sky in Meyers. Free for guests 21 and over. The 5-piece jazz/rock/soul jam band, the musicians weave their way through a diverse catalog of music, playing live interpretations of classic songs. Improvisation is the cornerstone of their sound, making each night a unique experience.

The players are Martin Bush (guitar/vocals), Lowell Wilson (keyboard/vocals), Keith Ovelman (bass), Ryan Kronenberg (drums), and Simon Kurth (guitar/vocals).

“We are a 5 piece band and play a mix of jam band, rock, soul, and blues tunes,” Kronenberg said. “Come out tonight and and enjoy some live music, I think you’ll dig it!

“We play a pretty wide variety of stuff, mixing in tunes from The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Allman Brothers Band, Talking Heads, Robert Palmer, Govt Mule, Ween, John Scofield, The Band, Roy Buchanan, The Isley Brothers, Taj Mahal, Freddie King, Eric Clapton, JJ Cale and Galactic, to name a few”
