FNCTN returns to the scene Thursday with live music, live artists, raffle prizes, and a ski town vibe.
Mark MacKay Band headlines this March show with one part blues rocker / one part country picker that knows how to take control of a crowd. Local “family band” from Lake Tahoe’s west shore, The Roemers, will kick off the music with original blues and funk along with classic rock covers. Plus, Lakeview Loft’s Nevada location, allows a special guest DJ to keep the dance moves going until 4 a.m.
“Mark MacKay has a true knack for getting the crowd moving with his mix of bluesy rock and country,” States Mike Peron of FNCTN. “He was recently voted as Top 100 Live Acts in 2015 by Music Connection Magazine and has a special place in his heart for Tahoe, so this will no doubt be a blast!”
Doors open at 8 p.m. with music beginning at 9 p.m. Admission will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Tahoe Hemp Company or online (mkt.com/FNCTN).
This will be the very last show at Lakeview Loft. March 18th the owners of the property will begin renovations to change the venue into a brand new restaurant called Sonney’s BBQ at Stateline; adding to the existing Sonney’s BBQ Shack on Hwy 89.
FNCTN then changes the pace of music with another Roger That Bassment Party on Friday, March 25th showcasing classic Drum & Bass at Xhale Lounge from Demo and Jamal. Admission to Xhale is $10 with unbeatable $1/$2 drink specials until midnight.
