Lantz Lazwell & The Vibe Tribe

Lantz Lazwell & The Vibe Tribe take the stage at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 7800 Bar and Grill at Kirkwood Mountain Resort. There is no cover charge.

After quickly becoming an influential force in the Sacramento music scene, Lantz Lazwell moved to Los Angeles where his career mushroomed to new, burgeoning heights at breakneck speed. Lazwell took home the LA Music Award for Best Rock Vocalist in 2007, and joined the all-star lineup of “Trulio Disgracias” which included members of Fishbone, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and his future “WahnderLust” partner, Kim Manning. And then begun to tour extensively with George Clinton and the P-Funk All- stars, opening the show with his band Wahnderlust.
Lantz’s sound and persona has been described as Jimi Hendrix meets Jack Johnson: Sly Stone times Stevie Wonder, a tasteful blend Rock, Hip Hop, and soul and R&B. Lantz’s style is innovative and exciting. His performance is animated and entertaining with songs that are truly insightful and original.
