Kanekoa and Tahoe Games Standup Paddleboard Races

On Course Events presents Music in the Park and Tahoe Games Standup Paddle Races at Tahoe Paradise Park (1011 East San Bernadino Ave) on August 23 and September 13.
“Bringing events to this gem of a venue has been a dream for On Course Events for many years,” Leslie Schultz of On Course Events said. “We’re excited to bring people together with great music and recreation in such a beautiful location!”
On Sunday, August 23, a new community event series begins at Tahoe Paradise Park. Tahoe Games Standup Paddleboard Races will run from 2-4 p.m. pm with a custom course built across Lake Baron. Free live music will follow the paddleboard races with Kanekoa and Taking Root performing from 4-8 p.m. Kanekoa, will headline the first concert as they make their South Lake Tahoe debut with their ukulele powered Hawaiian reggae fold rock.
In addition to live music and recreation, the events will highlight local vendors, live artists, free bike valet and a beer/wine garden. Proceeds from the beer/wine garden will benefit Sierra-at-Tahoe Education Foundation.
