Jake Nielsen’s Triple Threat likes to “Do Work.” In fact, that’s the name of the blues rockers’ newly released album, featuring the songs “Central Cali,” “Last Night’s Show” and “Looking For Fun.” If you’re looking for fun, head to Whiskey Dick’s Saloon at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 6. Triple Threat will perform free for fans 21 or older. Tahoe Blue Vodka drink specials offered throughout the night. Nielsen plays a mean guitar and will be joined by bassist Dave Palmer, aka Cousin Dave, and drummer Kyle Talty. The Santa Cruz trio delivers a funky blues/rock sound with a seasoning of reggae.
