Jack Johnson

During an “unpresidented” winter of tumultuous events, here’s something to chill upon: Jack Johnson will appear July 28 at Lake Tahoe, Harveys and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe announced today.

Johnson, an eco-champion and a surf rocker, will play the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys at the conclusion of a six-week, 17-date tour. General admission and bleacher tickets — both $70 plus entertainment fees — go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 at Ticketmaster and APE outlets. The show will start at 7 p.m. with the California band ALO.

It will be Jack Johnson’s first major tour since 2014.

With the new conservative climate in Washington, D.C., the concert will come with a message. Johnson has released a song, “Fragments,” which addresses plastic pollution in the ocean. ALO stands for Animal Liberation Orchestra.
