Get ready to funkify. The Sextones, Reno’s homegrown soul and funk band, appears with Gene Evaro Jr. at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept 9, at The Saint in Reno. Tickets are $8 in advance or $12 at the door. Evaro brings his funk/folk/rock from magical Joshua Tree, California. He has performed several times in the area this summer, including the High Sierra Music Fest. Opened this year, the Saint is in Midtown at 761 South Virginia Street.
