FireHouse headlines a night of rock on Friday, Sept. 16, in the Rockbar Theater, the former site of the Knitting Factory in downtown Reno. Tickets are $20. Doors open at 7 p.m. Terry Lauderdale takes the stage at 7:40. Reno’s Greg Golden Band plays at 8:15 p.m. FireHouse goes on at 10 p.m.
Formed in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina, FireHouse had numerous hit songs, including “Reach For The Sky,” “All She Wrote” and “Don’t Treat Me Bad.” FireHouse beat out Nirvana and Alice in Chains at the 1992 American Music Awards for Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock New Artist.
