Dean-O-Holics — a Rat Pack Christmas — will be presented in the Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room on Friday, Dec. 20 at 8 p.m.
The atmosphere? Pure Lake Tahoe, Nev, circa 1960. The Summit, swingin’, smoke filled and flowin’ with booze, broads and pallies, a gasser of a time and a sound that will knock you right outta your Mary Janes.
The act? Strictly Rat Pack; Frank, Dean, Sammy and the gang, backed by the The Swingin’ Lil Big Band. It’s live. It’s 18 karat fun, baby. It’s the Dean-O-Holics.
The Deanoholics, for 2 years running winners of the national award winners for best Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin tribute band, are selling out performances internationally and bringing their holiday cheer to Lake Tahoe like only the Rat Pack can. (And Dino likes his holiday cheer!). Originally getting their start as the house band next door inside Frank’s old place, the Sinatra Showroom at Lake Tahoe’s Cal-Neva Resort (“Big Trouble at the El Royale”.) This nationally touring act turns every show into an electric occasion, bringing back the cool like you haven’t heard it since the days of the last great show biz party at the lake. From the crooning to the gags, the dancing and the hip sounds of their musical director and his baby grand piano, backed by a rhythm and horn section perfect for whatever kind of clambake you’re planning. And if you like Dean, Frank and the boys, you’ll love the antics of Sacramento’s own“Sammy” award winner Peter “Not Lawford” Petty as well as Marilyn Monroe and her sultry pipes. Come see who our surprise guest personalities will from behind Dino’s mystery door.
