The Carson Valley Inn’s 34th Birthday Party will be Saturday, Aug. 18. The free event at TJ’s Corral will include Michael Furlong’s Tribute to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. Tom Petty himself made mention of Michael’s show in a 1996 Rolling Stone Magazine interview, on the internationally syndicated radio show “Rock Line” and on “MTV’s Top 20 Countdown.”
You’ll also be able to chow-down at special birthday prices with $2 pulled pork sandwiches and $1 hot dogs. Quench your thirst with $2 beers, $3 wine and just a buck for soda and water. And free ice cream. Free parking, too.
