Music on the Beach is a free concert every summertime Friday at Kings Beach State Recreation Area from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This week it’s Coburn Station.
Formed in 2011, Coburn Station pays tribute to an early name for the mountain community that was to become Truckee. The band delivers roots-rock music based in blues in folk. Coburn Station recently released its debut 11-track album, “Coming Home.” The band is Dan McAlister (guitar, vocals), Conor McAlindin (drums, vocals), Thomas Page (bass, vocals), and Ryan Taylor (keyboard, synthesizer).
