An all-ages show, Chief Keef will perform in the Cargo Concert Hall at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4. Doors open at 7. The opener has yet to be announced. Advance tickets are $22. The price is $25 on the day of the show.
Keith Cozart — aka Chief Keef, Chief Sosa, Almighty Sosa and just-plain Sosa — is a 21-year-old rapper from Chicago, who gained fame as a teenager, releasing his first work on YouTube while he was under house arrest at his grandmother’s house. He sometimes has been compared to 50 Cent. He started rapping at the ripe old age of 5 and this year announced his retirement, which apparently wasn’t long lived. After his Reno show, he heads to a gig in Las Vegas. Chief Keef currently resides in Los Angeles, which he describes as relatively tranquil compared with his turf in Chicago.
