Bobby Dolan Baseball Dinner: Nomar Garciaparra

The 36th annual Bobby Dolan Baseball Dinner — a fundraiser for Nevada baseball — features keynote speaker Nomar Garciaparra on Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Silver Legacy’s Reno Ballroom.
Tickets are $200. VIP tickets are $300. Cocktails start at 5:30 p.m., and 4:30 for VIPs. Tables of 10 are available. Call 775-682-6901. RSVP by Jan. 10.
Garciaparra was a six-time Major League All-Star shortstop who adjusted his batting gloves before every pitch he took. He’s a TV color analyst with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Garciaparra now works for the Los Angeles Dodgers SportsNet LA crew. He has served as a color analyst for the past six seasons.
