Bluesdays after-party: Honey Vixen

Honey Vixen plays the Bluesdays after-party in the Auld Dubliner in The Village at Palisades Tahoe at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Honey Vixen was specially chosen by the Blues Monsters to open for them at the very first Bluesdays concert this year. They are also part of the Iconic Women in Music Production with Tahoe Flow Arts on Aug. 13. This will be their first show at The Dubliner!
Honey Vixen are Tahoe local musicians Kandy Xander & Nicole Gaich. Melding both of their diverse musical styles and aesthetics , this duo is based on their deep seated mutual love of rock and roll, low down dirty blues, country sass and unabashed punk soul folk. They get a kick out of selecting songs from artists they love and putting their own unique spin on them. At a Honey Vixen show you’re sure to hear some Black Keys,Jack White, Dolly Pardon, Florence and the Machine, Patti Smith, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, The Cranberries, PJ Harvey, Talking Heads, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nirvana, Tom Petty and more.
