Big Blu Soul Revue

San Francisco funk and soul band Big Blu Soul Revue brings its winter tour to north Lake Tahoe for a pair of shows at Bar of America in Truckee on Friday and Saturday, Feb.12-13, and an afternoon show at the Village at Northstar on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, Feb.14.
Big Blu Soul Revue bring their passion for 60’s and 70’s soul, funk and jazz to the live stage, sharing musical influences ranging from soul legends like Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone, Bill Withers and to funk and jazz artists like The Meters, Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Smith and Grant Green. The band will be highlighting material that will be included on their upcoming CD, scheduled to be released in Spring 2016. Their fresh approach brings a wide array of infectious dance grooves to their high-energy live show.
