Taking Root, a South Lake Tahoe reggae, ska and rock band, will play a benefit concert for Lori Mayo, a longtime North Shore resident with massive medical expenses. Mayo was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. She is making a miraculous recovery. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28. A $10 donation is requested.
