Beacons and Beers will be the order of the day starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 a Alibi Ale Works – Truckee Public House. A beacon, shovel and probe are your backcountry essentials. Come get tips on how to use this gear to search and rescue someone. Connect with other like minded backcountry enthusiasts. Come early to get a cold beverage, food and best seating. Formal presentation starts at 6:30 p.m.
