At this year’s Aviation Roundup at the Minden-Tahoe Airports, the USAF Thunderbirds will return for their second show in the Carson Valley, but with one big difference: they will be based at the airport. You will be able to see the aircraft on the ground, and watch their ground show as well as their airshow. The Thunderbirds squadron is an Air Combat Command unit composed of eight pilots, four support officers, four civilians and more than 100 enlisted personnel performing in almost 30 job specialties.
