August Burns Red

JMAX presents August Burns Red at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, in the Cargo Concert Hall. Tickets are $20 at the door for the all ages show.

Nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance, August Burns Red is a Chrisitian metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It’s touring in support of its latest album, “Found in Far Away Places.” Formed in 2003, the band has “spent years skillfully crafting a balance between a ferociously heavy sound with empowering lyrical content, while showcasing a rich surplus of inventive guitar riffs, blistering solos and dynamic drumming.”
