An Evening with Dankjewel

The Synthedelic Dreamwave heroes Dankjewel make their return to Reno at The Saint with special guests Werewolf Club and Team Francis. This will be one epic night with Reno’s premiere synth driven Indie bands. The show is at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4. Tickets: $6 in advance or $8 at the door.
Dankjewel is David Alastair, vocals, guitar, synth; Danny Lennon, guitar and vocals; Aaron Chiazza, drums; Alex Korostinsky, bass and synth; Paul Curatolo, vocals, multiple instruments; Alex Koch, guitars, synth, mix engineer.
Team Francis is a synthpop trio that has been all over local bills lately and with tunes as infectious as the ones featured on “2015 Demo” it’s no surprise. The group features siblings Samantha Gates on vocals and keys and Ivan Gates on drums as well as Roo Burns on guitar. Their demos were recorded in Carson City by Ivan and Samantha’s father Vince at the music store he owns called Play Your Own Music.
