Fortunate Youth, a reggae ska rock band based out of Huntington Beach, brought the upbeat vibes on a packed house at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa on Nov. 18. The crowd was dancing and happily cheering on the band during popular songs being played.

Dan Kelly, the lead singer, took a moment to share his gratitude toward the audience for being back on his first tour since before the pandemic. While the pandemic allowed them to spend time making new music, being with family — some band members welcomed babies and engagement proposals — you could tell they were glad to be back touring.

Katastro rocked hip-hop reggae vibes bringing flair to the scene and Artikal Sound System played an acoustic set that allowed lead singer Logan Rex’s voice to shine. The acoustic set allowed Logan, to capture the audience with her presence and beautiful notes. All in all it was a great night involving many different reggae bands that brought varying genres adding to the overall performance.
