Life is Beautiful features The Killers, Kendrick Lamar

For its 10th anniversary, Las Vegas’ premiere music event Life Is Beautiful Festival is set to return Sept. 22-24 and will bring back some of the big name headliners from its decade long run. The open-air festival which reaches beyond music to bring in some notable figures from Las Vegas’ entertainment, culinary, and arts scenes will take over an 18 block area around the town’s Fremont East Arts District.

Topping this year’s lineup are Vegas’ own The Killers who headlined the inaugural event in 2013, hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar, and electronic duo ODESZA who brought an entire drumline out with them during their headlining performance in 2018.

Nearly 75 musical performers who play across the festival’s four outdoor stages over the three days. With a footprint that stretches across a large portion of the downtown area, Life Is Beautiful tends to fill up much of the space with interactive art installations, smaller curated performance spaces, an indoor theater for comedy performances, and if history is any indication, pop up and surprise performances in some of the unexpected corners like T-Pain doing a surprise performance inside the small Atomic Liquors bar or LP Giobbi DJing. an electronic set in the middle of the Art Motel installation.

In addition to the headliners, this year’s festival also will see The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Flume, The 1975, Khalid, Nelly, Ferg, Bebe Rexha, Rina Sawayama, Snakehips, and others across the spectrum from hip hop to rock to electronic to straight up pop taking the stages. Cirque Du Soleil, Meow Wolf, Jabbawockeez, and Blue Man Group are amongst local Vegas performers who will be performing throughout the festival.
