Punk Rock Bowling – the annual fest that sees a decadent mix of punk, ska, hardcore, and adjacent bands and performers to the festival grounds, clubs and swimming pools of downtown Las Vegas – has just announced the lineup for their 2025 event.
While the music and festival industry has been hard hit by oversaturation and rising costs, Punk Rock Bowling has bucked the trend and has continued to grow their events with each year. In addition to the 3 day long festival that features dozens of bands playing across multiple stages (with no overlap, allowing attendees to not have to choose between competing performances), 2024’s event also had film screenings, hotel pool parties, an actual bowling tournament open for any teams to enter, and dozens of late night club shows taking place throughout downtown after the main event ended.
The festival has made a point of including a variety of performers and styles and each year manages to mix well known headliners with young blood worthy of checking out.
2025 is no different, with the festival announcing Orange County punk band Social Distortion, UK Oi band Cock Sparrer, and founder of Joy Division and New Order, Peter Hook fronting his current group The Light as headliners.
In addition, more than three dozen other bands will perform at the festival grounds’ stages over Memorial Day Weekend, including FLAG (made up of former members of the group Black Flag performing a raging set of BF material), The Interrupters, Fidlar, The Adicts, The Damned, Gang of Four, Youth Brigade, Cockney Rejects, The Pietasters and the Bouncing Souls.
The lineup announcement is for the outdoor three day festival only. In the coming weeks, Punk Rock Bowling is set to drop the lineup of dozens of late night club and bar shows that will kick off each night following the outdoor fest.
