“We’re really excited to bring the ‘Live from the Arch’ series to Downtown Reno,” said Niki Gross, the managing director at the Whitney Peak Hotel. “It’s the first of its kind for the area, and if we’ve proved anything up to this point it’s that we’re not afraid of firsts.”

“It’s the biggest show I have put on and still have more to announce later,” said Cargo’s music promoter Brent Harding of Devil Dog Productions.

Harding did reveal to Tahoe Onstage that Zappa Plays Zappa will perform in Cargo on Dec. 4.

Whitney Peak’s first show on the RETRAC will be Sept. 19 with Buddy Guy, G. Love & Special Sauce and Todd Snider. An after-party in Cargo will feature another big name in music. It will be announced on July 11.
