The Novelists play hometown concert before tour

The Novelists
The Novelists are booked for a month of shows, the next being Saturday at Hawkins Amphitheater.

The Novelists’ next chapter opens Saturday in the  Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at the Bartley Ranch Regional Park in Reno.

The send-off show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Afterward, the Reno quartet will hit the road for a month of shows in support of a new album, “With Drawl.” Last week it released a video. The band plays tight pop ballads and features four-harmonies.

“The past two years have been a whirlwind of creating new art and touring to bigger and bigger audiences across the country,” said keyboardist Eric Andersen. “We’ve always been overwhelmed by the support of our Reno/Tahoe family and can’t wait to play for everyone again at Bartley.

Also in the band are guitarist/mandolin player Joel Ackerson, bassist Zack Teran and the newest member and a familiar player to North Tahoe music lovers Miguel Jimenez-Cruz.

Limited advance tickets can be purchased at a discount from door price by visiting www.thenovelists.com.
