Malevolent psychedelic blues rockers Jeff Angell’s Staticland plays at the Rockbar Theater on Friday, Nov. 11, opening for Candlebox on its Disappearing In Airports tour. Fronted by singer-songwriter-guitarist Jeff Angell, along with band members Benjamin Anderson on keys/bass and Joshua Fant on drums, the band’s debut album “Jeff Angell’s Staticland” —produced by Grammy Award winner Vance Powell (Jack White, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs, Seasick Steve)—breathes new life into the blues genre both sonically and stylistically.
