The Congress elected to go with four players, adding keyboardist, Chris Speasmaker, who whose first show as a full-time band member was in Tahoe onstage at the Thursday Live at Lakeview concert at (South) Commons Beach. Comprised of Virginia natives who now reside in Denver, the Congress play a mixture southern rock, soul and the Dead. The second annual concert series continues with Lavish Green next week.
