Creating Equilibrium: Village Green Festival

Village Green Festival, a Creating Equilibrium event, is a free three-day concert, festival and environmental conference Friday, Aug. 25-Sunday, Aug. 27, at Squaw Valley.

Artists include Bob Moses, Dispatch, Allen Stone, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, Ryan Miller of Guster with Arc Iris, and a special performance by Secret Stash, a one-time only supergroup featuring members of Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Fun, Godsmack and more! Along with live music, attendees will enjoy amazing art installations and virtual reality activations, the opportunity to interact with local vendors and nonprofits, and to hear from leading environmental experts at the Talk of the Village.
The conference portion of Creating Equilibrium, hosted by YouTube star + activist Prince EA along with NY Times bestseller Steven Kotler, brings together an incredible combination of 250 thought leaders in business, government, environmental science and, technology to join and discuss the current environmental crises our planet faces today, specifically focusing on biodiversity (species extinction, ecosystem services + solving through retrocasting).

• Dispatch – The band just released their celebrated sixth album, “America, Location 12,” and will be returning to the road on their first national tour in five years, Creating Equilibriumwill be their only California appearance!
• Bob Moses,a Canadian electronic duo from Vancouver, Bristish Columbia
• Secret Stash – unique supergroup which is composed of Stefan Lessard from Dave Matthews Band and Mike McCready from Pearl Jam,
• Allen Stone – An American soul musician from Chewelah, Washington. His website states that people describe him as a soul and R&B singer, yet he sees himself as a “hippie with soul.”
• Nate Ruess– songwriter, and the lead singer of American Indie Pop group Fun.
• Ryan Miller,the lead singerof Guster
• Sully Erna– vocalist and guitarist for the American hard rock band Godsmack.
• Michael Ghegan– saxophone/keyboard player, vocalist, producer and teacher.
