Cliff Porter and Dave Berry will appear Sunday and Monday, April 9-10, in the Cabaret Lounge at the Carson Valley Inn. The free shows are from 6 to 10 p.m.
Lifelong friends from Reno, the pair reconnected several years ago at an open mic. Porter had recently move back to his hometown. After playing several shows as a duo, Porter and Berry added two players and started the band Jelly Bread. The music is soul, R&B, funk and, for the CVI gigs, expect a little twang, too.
