Celebrity Golf: American Century Championship

The American Century Championship, Lake Tahoe’s annual celebrity golf tournament, will be held from July 9-14, at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada. Practice rounds are Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a pro-am round on Thursday. The three-round tournament begins on Friday. Former Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo is the defending champion. The player roster has not been confirmed, but regulars have included Stephen Curry, Mark Mulder, Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers, A.J. Hawk, Kevin Nealon, Ray Allen, Alfonso Ribeiro, Charles Woodson, Chris Webber, Steve Young, Larry The Cable Guy and Jim McMahon, who has played every year since the tourney began in 1990.
