There will be another three-night string of musical incidents this winter at Lake Tahoe.

String Cheese Incident will perform Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 21-23, in the MontBleu Theater.

General sale tickets start at 10 a.m. Friday and are $69.50 or $199 for all three shows. Presale tickets on the SCI Tour page start at 10 a.m. Wednesday. LINK

The band is celebrating its 25th year.

In March 2018, the bluegrass and jam band from Telluride, Colorado, played three consecutive nights on the other side of the lake, the Crystal Bay Casino. It was the conclusion of a Winter Carnival tour in which SCI performed in smaller venues in mountain towns.

The musicians — Michael Kang (guitar, fiddle), Michael Travis (drums), Bill Nershi (guitar), Kyle Hollingsworth (keyboards), Keith Moseley (bass), and Jason Hann (percussionist) — decorated the stage with lamps and rugs, upon which they stood barefoot and thrilled enthusiastic crowds of mostly out-of-town concertgoers.

Other shows announced today: Feb. 15-17 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, April 19-20 at the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis, May 3 at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, May 4-5 at Mardi Gras World (with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong) in New Orleans, May 24 at DelFest in Cumberland, Maryland, May 25-27 in the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York and FloydFest in Floyd, Virginia.
