Sammy Hagar’s CD release party tonight in Tahoe Cabo Wabo

The Red Rocker has made a lot of friends in four decades of rock.

A CD release party will be held from 6-10 p.m. Tuesday in the Lake Tahoe Cabo Wabo Cantina for “Sammy Hagar & Friends.”

Hosted by Sammy’s son Aaron Hagar and radio personality Max Volume, the event inside Harveys is free. There will be plenty of giveaways, videos and, of course, the album will be featured.

The album is blues, country and rock ‘n’ roll. Featured on Hagar’s first album in six years are Kid Rock, Neal Schon, Joe Satriani, Chad Smith, Michael Anthony, David Lauser, Taj Mahal, Ronnie Dunn, Toby Keith, Nancy Wilson, Bill Church & Denny Carmassi and Mona.
